  4. Serve with steamed rice (& with other Korean side dishes). Or if doing hot pot, reduce the heat to low (using a portable burner) and share the food at the dinning table..

Nowadays, army stew is enjoyed by people as a comfort food dish. My budae jjigae features SPAM, sausage, tofu and mushrooms, but the beauty of this dish is that you can honestly throw in whatever else you would like!
